All of us, at some point of time in our lives, have had the opportunity to connect with our inner souls. Be it those testing times when life seems so low, or the beautiful moments when we feel on top of the world – there are many of those precious moments when our inner voice resonates and tends to blend with the outside world.

Such a feeling where the soul connects and converses with life per se is the inspiration to both the band and the band’s name – AntarDhvani. Antar meaning the ‘Inner’ and Dhvani, the ‘sound’ – the divine sound that our inner soul makes. For AntarDhvani, music is the divine means of connecting the inner soul to the outside world. Obviously, something that comes from soul always finds connection with other souls. Be it the soulful melody of soothing song, where you just want to hold hands and close eyes, or the rapt pleasure of a happy song, where all you want is to get carried away into that dream world, or even the sheer energy of a ripper, where you just want to dance away your dreams, Antardhvani connects...

We, at Antardhvani, have been living our music for a long time now. Not only do our lives revolve around it, but we believe the ripple that we have started has touched many a lives. We have performed at colleges (D.U. being the home ground, will always be a favorite), corporate events & NGOs. And never have we come back less than satisfied (nor has the crowd, for that matter). It’s the feeling that we get when we connect with the crowd, when we sway the crowd, when we play for the crowd, that makes all the effort, all the hardwork worthwhile.

AntarDhvani for us is a platform to reach to the masses – to let them know a story in our own special way – to help them de-stress by the magic of music, to enable them to connect with themselves and to let them connect with the world. It is an effort, above all, to make them tap their feet and bring a beautiful smile to their faces AND to their souls, to share the sheer joy that we feel while playing our music.

AntarDhvani is committed to creating strikingly soothing music. It will strive to connect to the souls of anyone who is willing to pause and listen for a while. As we set our foot on this musical journey, AntarDhvani’s motive will be to deliver par excellence.

Presently, the band positions itself as a group of working professionals who double up as passionate musicians. With Management post graduates, Lawyers and Chartered Accountant, the group’s portfolio is as diverse as their music. AntarDhvani by now has over 15 original compositions spanning across genre ranging from Indipop to HindRock and Electro Folk to Indo-Western Fusion. Their music displays elements of western music such as Jazz, Blues, Pop and Rock and Indian music such as Raaga based compositions, Alaap, Taan and Taranas. AntarDhvani has performed live on various prestigious platforms like Hansraj College, FORE School of Management, SRCC, Mocha (Fever off the Record), TGIP and Sirifort (Dil Ki Awaaz), Gyanetra (Law faculty Cultural Festival, DU), Prayas for children (An NGO) and also featured on various TV, Radio, newspapers and magazines like NDTV India, Sahara, NDTV MetroNation, Sahara NCR, CNEB, Pragya TV, Living India, BIG FM, Radio ONE, Radio Mirchi, MetroNow, Mail Today, The Statesman, The Viewspaper and The New Global Indian.
