Youngistan, Ye dil Maange More 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 3
Is this just a byline of ‘Pepsi’ or does it signifies something more.

Initially Shahrukh Khan used to say ‘Ye dil maange more’ advertising Pepsi but now Ranbir Kapoor has taken the charge of spreading this thought in a little different way by adding ‘Youngistan’ to this line. Why this addition??

Well! Youngistan implies us all youngsters, us all ideologists, and us all who think that we are different from others, in short the generation next... “Youngistan, Ye dil maange more” aptly describes the young people’s state of mind. It very well signifies that we are not satisfied with what we have and hankering for a lot more. But is the ‘Want’ justified… “Who cares in Youngistan, we give a damn to it”
Our generation WANTS more career opportunities, our generation WANTS more freedom, our generation WANTS more technology, our generation WANTS more money, our generation WANTS more IIMs, Our generation WANTS more IITs, Our generation WANTS more of everything … BUT … OUR GENERATION WANTS NO HARDWORK
Guys are we doing enough hard work to reach our high goals.
Is just ‘wanting’ enough?

An excellent thought bro...would just like to add on that in my opinion, one basic thing which differentiates an acheiver from a loser is the "Channelisation of Energy". Every day, we get to see/hear/read about scores of youngsters involved in brawls in pubs, on roads, at their homes etc. The energy and the zeal to acheive something is there, but that enthusiasm is kind of wasted by winning a bike race, or by hitting someone or just by mere bullying. Although the joy (if there's any) of winning such small battles is small and practically does'nt qualify as something to boast about, yet youngsters get involved in these acts repeatedly, without realising that a competitive exam cracked can give you more joy than cracking somebody's head..

Hope i made myself clear....

Another thing that might be relevant here.......I think two many things happen at the same time in this world and thus the young have a lot on their mind, and the focus on short term need is so much that the larger pictures is nothing but a merged entity of all these short term aspirations. Ultimately people succumb to the myopic desires and end up doingt things which are not in the larger of interest of themselves or the society.....We are too busy with ourselves, we don't have time to think about the nation or the society leave the world.......See inside urself....analyze who you are, were do u come from, and where are u going......If u find answers to these questions than post them here....trust me nothing is impossible and u do what u think.....so think big and youngistan....Hindustan and the world
