Hey Everyone!!

I am all in praise of the decision. The need of the hour is to regulate the lukewarm attitude of the professors. A professor instigates the motivation in a student to take up a subject in the realm of adding value to it. Its been long since any of the Indian scholors has won any kind of nobel prize in their respective field. Thus, a professor holds an extra responsibilty towards nation building and value addition of his subject of study.

But frds lets just remember tht India's democracy is based on very different principles than the ones existing in the rest of the world's nations. We by no mean, as students, should strive to quantify the value addition of our mentors/teachers/professors. Quantification of the feedback might just shake the piller of trust a student and a teacher has. A better accountabilty mechanism needs to be devised.

All of us cant forget the value additions of our beloved teachers just for the sake of 1-2 off the block incidences.

ya i agree 2 wat u say.......but y bring d students in d picture in d first place???doing this will bring only too much power in d hands of d students......!!

yaar how does this give too much power in the hands of the students??? i don't think the university is going to fire any professor on the basis of what students say about him/her; although it will go against him if any committee to investigate into student's claims is formed.

i also agree 2 wat varun says but dont u think dat such creatures(i would not like 2 call them teachers) constitute a very small portion of d overall teacher population......u cant blame all d teachers 4 such crimes.....
n by d way neha.....i may b rong but corruption is an inevitable phenomenon anywhere v see....but v cant compromise on our morals 4 this fact.....watsay??

i dont say dat d teacher will b fired.........m not goin 2 dat level altogdr......all i wanna say is dat a teacher shud behave like a teacher n a student shud behave like a student.....why cross limits??

i think the university should introduce this system initially on a fully experimental basis and then review the reports submitted to a special committee as to continue with it or not. what say???
