Miranda House started with its 3 day Annual College fest, TEMPEST 2008 today.

The fest started with a theme quiz hosted and sponsored by Gyan Gang. Other events for the day included the street play competition, "Euphony" - the western music competition, face painting competition and one act performances.

Besides taking part in the competitions, the students enjoyed themselves at the various food stalls that were put up in the college. Many NGO's also came up with their stalls.

The biggest hit amongst the students was the tattoo making and body piercing stall. The popularity of this stall can be explained by the fact that students were ready to belt out more than 2000 bucks to get a tattoo of their choice on their body!

The day ended with performances by rock bands like BK and Crust, October and Bandish who kept the crowd swaying to their wonderful music.

The topic for the face painting competition was "Face Of Terrorism".

Different college teams came up with different ideas.
The team from Ramjas College painted the face in black and white. For them white side represented the terror of the politicians and the black side was for the terror caused by the terrorists.
