Will all colleges accept the centralised OMR forms?
Apart from St Stephen’s and Jesus & Mary, all other colleges will accept the centralised forms

Will I have to submit the form at the same centre from where I bought it?
No. Forms can be bought from any one of the 15 centres, as listed in the DU website, and submitted at any of these centres

Will there be entrance tests for Eng (H) this year?

The university has scrapped entrance exam for English (H) and no college will be allowed to conduct such a test

Does DU offer masters in English through correspondence?
No. It is a regular course at DU and the School of Open Learning does not offer it

Does DU offer post-graduation in journalism?
Only Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce offers a PG in business journalism

What is the difference between bachelor of journalism and bachelor of mass media and mass communication (BMMMC)?
Journalism is a print media-oriented course in DU, while BMMMC covers all branches of media like TV, radio and the internet. Whereas journalism (in English) is offered by five DU colleges, BMMMC is only available at IP College for Women

What is the difference between BA (H) and BA Programme?

BA (H) offers specialisation in a subject. BA Programme is a restructured course, offering a combination of subjects. Many colleges also offer vocational courses under the BA Programme

Ya i think so 2 coz SGGSCC is the best one ryte now.I doubt any of the above colleges will be able to replace SGGSCC.

It will still take a hwile for these colleges to climb up the ladder as far as BBE is concerned.

BBE is job oriented 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 35
With the introduction of BBE in three more colleges last year, this course has taken new dimensions. Moreover the internships included in the curriculum provide the students an insight into the corporate world. Unlike other traditional courses like B.Com (Hons) and Eco (Hons) that are theoretical, BBE offers a more practical and job-oriented approach.

The curriculum of the course offers a complete package including finance, accounts, management, and computers among other subjects BBE being a perfect combination of economics and marketing meets the demands of the industrial sector.

It has great career opportunities. The curriculum of the course offers a complete package including finance, accounts, management, and computers among other subjects. Students may go for either an MBA or an MBE after their graduation. This would not only help them getting good packages but also will enable them rising corporate ladder.

Last year more than 8000 students took the BBE entrance exam. Students going in for this course should have a good command over the their general knowledge skills and should build upon their 12th class mathematics.

In the changing times and the growing competition, professional courses like BBE, BBS etc. are need of the hour.
